We sell digital e-books about emergency preparedness: ten individual PDF e-books, and a bundle of all ten that comes with a free printable bonus, Walt's Emergency Binder. Everything is delivered electronically as a download. Nothing is shipped.
Walt, the host who presents the e-books on this site and on our YouTube channel, is an AI-generated character. Pictures marked "AI generated" were made with AI.
Our e-books share general, practical information for ordinary households. They are not medical, legal, financial, electrical, fire-safety or other professional advice, and they do not replace instructions from your doctor, pharmacist, local authorities, utility company or emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in the EU). Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for any device, fuel or heater, and never use fuel-burning equipment indoors unless it is made for indoor use.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Checkout and payment are handled by Payhip (Payhip Ltd, United Kingdom) and its payment partners, such as Stripe and PayPal. Payhip calculates and charges any applicable VAT or sales tax at checkout. After payment you receive an email from Payhip with your download links; if it does not arrive, check your spam folder or email hello@lucasgrayson.shop.

When you buy, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the e-books and the binder for yourself and your household. You may print them for your own use. You may not resell, share, upload, publish or pass on the files, or use them to train AI models.
All content on this website and in our products, including text, images, design and the Worst-Case Ready name, belongs to us and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
Please do not use the site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, send harmful code or try to get into our systems.
The site and the e-books are provided "as is". Every home, family and emergency is different, and we cannot promise a particular outcome.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with our products or this site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health, or your rights under the consumer protection laws of your country.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory rights are not affected. For digital downloads that start at once with your agreement, the 14-day right of withdrawal ends when the download is provided; our 90-day guarantee applies in its place.
These Terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live also apply.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The Terms in force when you bought apply to that purchase.
